How I Got Here

I have worked in the employee benefits field since 1985, spending the first twelve years of my career with two leading group disability and life insurance carriers where I held numerous positions in sales and sales management in Portland, Seattle, Sacramento, and Washington DC. In 1997, I launched my own employee benefit planning agency, Client First Group, Inc.

I teamed up with Benefit Partners LLC in August 2010 to provide account management assistance across the group life, short- and long-term disability, and long-term care insurance business lines.

What I Love About My Job

In a word: relationships. I am passionate about solving problems for my clients and when their problems are solved, a trusting relationship begins to develop and grow. I love employee benefits because I realize that the workplace is the most common way people are able to conveniently and affordably insure their assets with health, life, and disability coverage.

Hobbies & Interests

There are so many things outside of work that I enjoy I wish I could find the time to do more. I enjoy being anywhere my wife and kids are, whether playing golf, skiing, remodeling, lounging at the beach, exploring the mountains, hiking, or even doing yard work.
